Rose Walsh, 94

CHELMSFORD- Rose M. Walsh, 94, a resident of Chelmsford died on Thursday, November, 14, 2013 at the Life Care Center of the Merrimack Valley in Billerica. She was the beloved wife of the late Manuel Motta and the late Vincent J. Walsh.
She was born in Wareham on May 24, 1919, a daughter of the late Joseph and Theresa (Sousa) Perry.
Rose spent her life tending to the needs of her home and family.

In her free time she enjoyed playing bingo and crocheting, and will always be remembered for being a great cook.
She is survived by five children, Robert Motta of Chelmsford, Joseph Motta and his wife Sherrol of Lowell, Philip Motta of Lowell, Carol Motta of Nashua, NH, and Maureen Brunetto and her husband Joseph “Skip” of Bourne; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was also the mother of the late Manuel Motta Jr., David Walsh, William Walsh, and Edward Walsh.

It being her family’s wish, there will be no visitation. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass to be celebrated on Friday, November 22, 2013 at 11 o’clock at St. Mary Church, 25 North Rd. Chelmsford. PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Private interment in Foxhill Cemetery in Billerica. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Rose’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association, 480 Pleasant St., Watertown, MA 02472.
