Patch has been informed that a serious traffic accident near the border of Lowell and Tewksbury has backed traffic up on 495 Northbound into Chelmsford back to Exit 32 in Westford.
According to the Massachusetts State Police Twitter feed, the accident was caused by a tractor trailer rolling over earlier this afternoon.
Traffic was still nearly halted as of approximately 3:45 p.m.
