Shoeless Assault At North Station, Chelmsford Man Arrested: TPD
Transit police said a Chelmsford man took off his shoes, put them in a random passenger's bag and tried to punch an officer in the face.

BOSTON — A Chelmsford man was arrested after police said he took off his shoes and tried to fight a police officer at the North Station Commuter Rail.Around 6:45 p.m. Wednesday transit police were called to one of the platforms after witnesses reported a man, later identified as Brian Langner, 30, took off his shoes and put them in another passenger's bag, police said.
Police said Langner then began yelling for no apparent reason and appeared intoxicated.
When officers approached him, police said Langner tried to punch an officer in the face. The officer dodged Langner's punch and struggled with him until transit police could bring him into custody.
