Tacie Potter Mansfield, 63

NEWBURYPORT - Tacie Potter Mansfield, beloved daughter of Jean Mansfield McCaffery and the late Jefferson R. Mansfield, Jr died at her home in Newburyport, MA on November 16, 2013 after a long illness.

 

Tacie was born on July 29, 1957 in Lowell, MA and grew up in Chelmsford, MA with her three brothers.  She attended Chelmsford schools and graduated from Northfield-Mt. Hermon Preparatory School.  Then on to Skidmore College for two years to study Art, eventually earning Bachelors and Masters degrees in Communication from Simmons College in Boston.

Tacie was a successful saleswoman for several printing companies such as Northeast Offset in Chelmsford and Flagship Press in No. Andover, and most recently the owner of an Edible Arrangements franchise in Newburyport.  Tacie was highly creative and loved gardening, cooking, collecting art, and entertaining at her home.

Surviving her are her mother Jean,  her three brothers Jon Mansfield and his wife Holly of Chelmsford, MA, Peter Mansfield and his wife Cynthia of Holliston,MA,  Steven Mansfield, DMD, and his wife Debra of Napa, Calif. and seven nieces and nephews.  Tacie was previously married to Robert McKittrick and John F McCarthy.

 

Visitation will be held at the BLAKE FUNERAL HOME, 24 Worthen Street, CHELMSFORD on Tuesday November 19th from 4 until 7 pm.  Private Burial Service on Wednesday—family only.  In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Merrimack Valley Hospice and Home Care, Inc., 360 Merrimack St., Bldg. 9, Lawrence, MA. 01843.  Funeral Director, Paul A.
