CHELMSFORD, MA - Chelmsford police and animal control had a busy 2015. Here's a breakdown of what they did based on data from the annual town report.
Police arrested 332 adults and nine juveniles in 2015. There were 1,050 suspicious activity calls, 395 disturbance calls, 367 domestic calls and 32 operating while under the influence calls.
The cops handed out $8,581.60 in parking tickets and racked up $53,520 in towing receipts.

In 2015, at least 35 people were bitten by animals and 42 deer got hit by cars. Forty-eight animals were taken to the pound, 38 lost pets were returned to their owners and nine animals went to the Lowell Humane Society.
According to the report, 3,600 dogs were licensed and 569 people got citations for failing to license their dogs.
