Child's ATV Toy on Topeka Road Likely Stolen By Two Adults, Nobody Saw Anything

Nov. 1 2:44 p.m. – An officer was doing traffic enforcement near a local car dealership when the owner of the car dealership ran over to the officer indicating a problem with a customer.

The owner said he had fixed a customer’s vehicle and also proved several other small repairs, but the customer was unhappy with the work, giving the owner a hard time.

The officer replied that as it was a civil matter, that was nothing he could do, indicating that the customer could reach out to his insurance company if there was a problem.

The customer agreed to this required and said he would get a check in the meantime.

The owner was advised to call back if there were any further incidents.

Nov. 1, 10:01 p.m. – A child’s ATV toy was reported stolen from a home on Topeka Road, with the parent of the child indicating that the toy was large enough that it would take two adults and a van to remove the toy.

She also indicated that the theft occurred between 9:45 and 10 p.m. and no neighbors saw any nearby suspicious vehicles.

Nov. 2, 1:24 p.m. – A woman’s in-laws arrived at her son’s soccer game uninvited and a verbal altercation broke out, with the in-laws leaving the scene.

The woman’s husband later arrived at the police station confirming the incident and said he does not have any contact with his parents, saying he may seek a harassment order if further incidents occur.

Nov. 3, 5:27 p.m. – A man who just quit his job at a Drum Hill store called police after concerns of discrimination and surveillance by his former employers.

Police said they could not act upon the issue, but offered to provide protection as he left the area.
