Weekend Agenda: Jazz Music, a Farm Stand Opening & More

Chelmsford:

Soft Opening: Studio A Dance Company has relocated to 9 Acton Road. Stop by on Saturday at 10 a.m. to check out the new studio and receive free registration to a summer camp.
Jazz Series: Head to the Chelmsford Center for the Arts Sunday at 7:30 p.m. to enjoy a free concert by “Casual Saxtet.” Music will be from the big band, swing era.
Kickboxing: Skill of Strength has a brand new Muay Thai Kickboxing group training program beginning in September. Curious? Try a free trial class on Saturday at 10 a.m.

Lowell:

Summer Music Series: On Friday, the Ryan Montbleau Band will play at 7:30 p.m. at Boarding House Park. Tickets are $25 in advance. On Saturday, Buddy Guy will play the same venue at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $44 in advance. The Lowell Summer Music Series extends through September.

Westford:

Orchard Opening: Westford’s Hill Orchard farm stand opens back up for the season on Saturday at 10 a.m., according to their Facebook. They’ll have peaches, plums and blueberries to start off the season.
Star Wars at the Library: Dress up as your favorite Star Wars character and play trivia and games for free at the J.V. Fletcher Library Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. 
Westford at the Pan-Mass Challenge: Team Cycle for Colby’s Ride, a team of 25, will be riding for Westford resident Colby Schofield, according to The Boston Globe. Colby, 17, was diagnosed with cancer and learned she was in remission in June. She’ll also be riding, along with her dad and brother. The team, made up of her family, friends and supporters, has already collected nearly $85,000 for the fight against cancer.

Tewksbury:

Canvas Painting: Learn a step-by-step process of how to paint a beach canvas and take home your piece of art! Magic Brush Pottery will hold a group painting class on Friday at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $30 each through Paypal.
