What’s Open, Closed On New Year’s Day 2021 In Chelmsford

CHELMSFORD, MA — On New Year’s Day, residents in Chelmsford will leave behind a year marked by unprecedented challenge. After spending much of the year navigating the coronavirus pandemic, many will no doubt welcome 2021 with open arms.

As we ring in the new year in our town, many local facilities and government offices will take the day off.

Here’s a look at what’s open and closed in Chelmsford on New Year’s Day:

The town offices will be closed on Jan. 1 for New Year's Day, but they will be open normal hours, Monday, Jan. 4. There will be a one-day delay for trash pickup: Friday on Saturday.
