Summer is winding down and within a few weeks teachers and students will fill Chelmsford classrooms again.

According to the district’s calendar, school gets back in session as teachers return beginning with New Staff Orientation on Tuesday and Wednesday, Aug. 26 and 27.
Students, meanwhile, won’t have to go back until September. Schools are closed Monday, Sept. 1, for Labor Day, teachers have a staff work day on Tuesday, Sept. 2, and students will finally fill the hallways for the first day of school on Wednesday, Sept. 3.
