Anne J. Dalrymple, 84, Formerly of Concord

Mrs. Dalrymple taught reading for eight years at the Sanborn Middle School in Concord.

CONCORD, MA—Anne J. (McNally) Dalrymple, 84, of Naples, Florida, formerly of Concord, Mass. died Sunday July 10, 2016 in Port Orange, Florida. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard A. Dalrymple who died in 2000.

Born in Clinton on August 28, 1931 she was the daughter of the late William F. McNally Sr. and Grace (Kerrigan) McNally. She attended Concord Public Schools and was a 1949 graduate of Concord High School where she served as Class Secretary and also lettered in Basketball.

During the 1970’s, Mrs. Dalrymple taught reading for eight years in Concord at the Sanborn Middle School.

From 1979 until 1990, she was employed as a Secretary at Digital Equipment Corporation in Maynard.

She became a resident of Naples, Florida in 1993 and was active as Secretary and member of Countryside Ladies Golf Association.

She is survived by her daughter Carol Parnell-Prevost (Frank) of New Smyrna Beach, Florida, and her son Robert W. Dalrymple (Deborah) of Elkton, Maryland. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Jessica Parnell of Nashua, New Hampshire and Danielle Parnell of New Smyrna Beach, Florida, and Benjamin and Edward Dalrymple, both of Elkton, Maryland and by her great grandson Jace Carter of Nashua, New Hampshire. She was also the mother-in-law of the late Stephen Parnell and sister of the late William F. McNally Jr. and Elizabeth Finigan.

A funeral will be held on Saturday July 16 from the Dee Funeral Home, 27 Bedford Street, Concord Center at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in Holy Family Parish, Monument Square, Concord Center at 10 am. Interment will follow in the family burial plot in St. Bernard’s Cemetery, Concord.

Visiting hours at the Dee Funeral Home are on Friday July 15th from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 pm.
