The Patriots have advanced to the state finals for the second time in three years.

CONCORD, MA—The Concord-Carlisle Patriots boys basketball team is making yet another trip to the Division 2 State Finals.

With their 59-44 victory over Tantasqua Monday at the DCU center in Worcester, the Patriots have earned their second birth in the state finals in three seasons. The Patriots will have an opportunity to avenge their 2014 finals loss to New Mission, if New Mission can top Whitman-Hanson Tuesday Night at TD Garden.

The Patriots are 22-1 with the victory, but trailed 26-19 at the half to Tantasqua. Wicked Local Concord reports that the patriots rattled off 14 straight points in the third quarter to close the gap.
