CONCORD, MA — The Concord Free Public Library’s Main Library is now open on Thursday evenings until 8 p.m. for browsing and retrieving holds.
Book drops will stay open overnight for returns. Returned materials will stay in quarantine for 72 hours which could cause a delay before those items are removed from a patron’s record. Library officials said fine amnesty will continue for the remainder of the calendar year.
In accordance with the Commonwealth’s Stage III Reopening Plan, the Library resumed modified services on September 21. Residents are encouraged to make an appointment to visit either library location in advance, but walk-ins are also welcome.
