Concord Placed In Green Category For Number Of Coronavirus Cases

This the second consecutive week that Concord's low case count has gotten it into the state's "green" designation.

CONCORD, MA — Coronavirus cases in Concord fell last week, according to state data.

Concord reported 16 cases of coronavirus in the two weeks leading up to April 17, just under the 18 cases it recorded the week before that. The average daily incidence rate was lower than the previous week's, decreasing to 6.1 from 6.9. The percent positivity decreased from 0.52 percent to 0.46 percent.

The state reported 48 communities were high-risk last week, down from 59 the week before.

Massachusetts reported 24,036 cases in the weeks leading up to April 17, with a daily incidence rate of 24.7 and a percent positivity of 2.3 percent.
