Concord's John Cucinotta: Local Farmer Dies at 89
He was born in Italy then moved to Concord, where he was a farmer for more than 30 years.

Giovanni “John” Cucinotta, 89, of Concord, died Thursday, October 2nd at his Concord home. He was the beloved husband for fifty-three years of Mary (Giocobbe) Cucinotta.
Born in Messina, Sicily, Italy on June 7, 1925 he was the son of the late John and Anna Cucinotta.

Mr. Cucinotta attended schools in Italy and arrived in the United States on July 25, 1956. A longtime Concord resident, he was a local farmer for thirty-four years until his retirement in June of 1990.
An outdoors enthusiast, he enjoyed tending to his garden and spending time with his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, Mary, survivors include his son, John S. Cucinotta and his wife Carol of Concord, and his grandchildren, Nicole and Alyssa Cucinotta, both of Concord. He was the brother of the late Santo, Anna, and Giuseppe Cucinotta.
Visiting hours were on Tuesday, October 7th from 9 to 10:45 am in the Dee Funeral Home, 27 Bedford Street, Concord Center, followed by a funeral Mass at 11 am in Holy Family Parish, Monument Square, Concord Center.
Burial followed in St. Bernard’s Cemetery, Concord.
