Emerson Hospital Staff Receive Touching Note From Patient

CONCORD, MA — Between holiday hours and vaccine distribution within hospital staff, Emerson staff are working as hard as ever and one patient took notice.

The Emerson lab team was surprised with a handwritten note from a patient and her daughter, thanking them for their work. The 'thank you' note that the Emerson lab team received was complete with a pink heart, scribbled by the patient's two-year-old daughter. It was signed simply "A and S."

The note thanked the staff for working through the holidays and said receiving her daughter's COVID-19 test results was the best New Year's gift.
