Feast of All Saints — Recital & Choral Evensong, Sunday, Nov. 3
Trinity Episcopal Church, 81 Elm Street in Concord, invites to the 5 PM program.
Concordia Consort (Sheila Beardslee, Nouri Newman and Brian Warnock, recorders) presents the prelude to the All Saints Choral Evensong sung by Trinity's Parish Choir (Robert Barney, director). Concordia Consort, Trinity’s ensemble-in-residence, performs works by Mergues, Ducis, Hassler, Dowland, Tomkins, J.C. Bach, Wesley, Pfandler, and three shape-note hymns. Trinity’s Parish Choir sings Ayleward’s Responses, Psalms 148 & 150 set by Edwards and Stanford, Sumsion’s Magnificat and Nunc dimittis, and Victoria’s motet O quam gloriosum.
This event takes place at 5 PM in the main sanctuary at Trinity Episcopal Church, 81 Elm Street in Concord, MA. All in our community are invited to help us celebrate all the saints!
