A combination of extreme temperatures and mechanical failure at one of our water supplies has resulted in a need for customers to reduce outdoor water use. If a notable reduction in lawn watering is not realized, the Concord Public Works Commission will need to issue a Lawn Watering Ban to ensure water is available for essential uses, like drinking and fire protection.

Concord Public Works Staff is diligently working to educate those who are watering their lawn outside of their designated watering day. Customers who continue to water their lawn outside of their designated watering day will be assessed a $50/$100 fine.
