Matthew James Turner Lynch, 26, of Acton, died unexpectedly on Sunday, November 16, 2014 at Emerson Hospital in Concord.
Born in Boston on November 22, 1987, he was the loving son of Katherine J. Turner of Acton and James J. Lynch, Jr. of Woburn. He attended Acton public schools, graduated from Acton High School in 2006 and attended Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts in North Adams.

A gifted musician and talented songwriter, Matt was a guitarist for several local bands.
A lifelong Acton resident, he was an avid chess player, snow boarder and was a loyal friend to many. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his close sister, Elaine Monica Lynch of Hudson, New Hampshire, his grandparents, Joan Mary Turner of Hitchin, Hertfordshire, England and Lois Ann Mulcahey of Falls Church, Virginia, several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was also the grandson of the late Donald Ernest Gordon Turner and James Joseph Lynch Sr.

Visiting hours at the Dee Funeral Home, 27 Bedford Street, Concord Center will be held on Thursday evening, November 20th from 7:30 to 9:30 pm. A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 21st at 2 pm in Trinity Episcopal Church, 81 Elm Street, Concord.
