1. Christmas Storytime: Children will be invited to hear old and new holiday favorites at a Christmas Storytime to be held at 2 p.m. this Thursday, Dec. 19 at the Concord Free Public Library. Get the details here.Â
2. Public Meetings Preview: According to the town website, here's the week's lineup of public meetings:Â
- Monday, Dec. 16: the CCHS Building Committee Finance Subcommittee at 4 p.m., the Board of Selectmen at 6:30 p.m. and the Community Preservation Committee at 7:30 p.m.Â
- Tuesday, Dec. 17: the Town Governance Study Committee at 8:15 a.m., the Conservation Restriction Stewardship Committee at 1 p.m., the Board of Health at 7 p.m. and the Hanscom Field Advisory Commission at 7 p.m.
- Wednesday, Dec. 19: the Retirement Board at 11 a.m., the CCHS Building Committee Site Based Subcommittee at 2:30 p.m., the CCHS Building Committee at 6 p.m., the Natural Resources Commission at 7 p.m., the Planning Board at 7 p.m., the Millbrook Tarry Task Force at 7 p.m., the West Concord Advisory Committee at 7:30 p.m. and the White Pond Advisory Committee at 7:30 p.m.Â

4. Winter Solstice with Emerson Umbrella: The Musketaquid crowd will host a Winter Solstice celebration on the grounds of the Old Manse from 6 to 7:30 p.m. this Saturday, Dec. 21, featured spirited song and light refreshments. Get the details here.Â
