Nominations Open For Concord's 2021 Honored Citizen
The award honors a Concord citizen for contributing substantial volunteer services to the community.
CONCORD, MA — Nominations are open for Concord's 2021 Honored Citizen Award.
The award honors a Concord citizen for contributing substantial volunteer services to the community. The Concord Public Ceremonies and Celebrations Committee reviews the nominations each year and chooses a citizen based on the quality, rather than the quantity of nominations that are received.
Nominations can be made for either an individual, or a couple and a complete biography should be supplied with reasons why the nominees should be selected. Nominations are open until Feb. 22 and may also be submitted electronically to cpccc@concordma.gov and forms are available online.

During the year of honor, the citizen or citizens are asked to join the Patriots Day Parade and participate in the town's celebrations and ceremonies. The Honored Citizen ceremony and reception is planned for 2 p.m. on March 21 in the Harvey Wheeler Center, 1276 Main St., Concord.
