Obituary: Allison G. Selfridge, 90, of Concord
Allison was a volunteer for the League of Women Voters in Concord and Carlisle and worked as a copy editor at Little Brown Publishing.

CONCORD, MA – Allison G. (Gilman) Selfridge, 90, of Concord, formerly of Lincoln, died on Friday, February 10, 2017 at Harrington Hospital in Southbridge.
She was born in Malden on October 2, 1926, the daughter of the late Stephen K. and Lillian (McAlon) Gilman. Ms. Selfridge was a student at Malden Public Schools and graduated from Malden High School in 1944. She also attended Radcliffe College in Cambridge where she earned her Undergraduate degree in Liberal Arts in 1948.
Prior to her retirement, Ms. Selfridge was employed as a Copy Editor at Little Brown Publishing Company in Boston.

She was a volunteer for the League of Women Voters in Concord and Carlisle. Prior to residing in Lincoln and Concord, she spent four years in Greece and enjoyed her summers in London.
Survivors include her children, Mallory Selfridge of Connecticut, Peter Selfridge of Maryland, and Caroline Gordon Selfridge of California, six grandchildren: Ethan, Ben, Lauren, Sarah, Andrew, and Nicholas, and one great grandchild. She was also the sister of Meg Bower of New Hampshire and the late Stephen, Richard, Teddy, and Robert Gilman.

Burial at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Roslindale is private. Arrangements are under the care of the Dee Funeral Home of Concord.
