Police Log: Calls from 'Keyshawn,' Speeding Deliverymen and Parking Lot Problems

The following information was provided by the Concord Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Saturday, Nov. 2

12:46 a.m. – An anonymous call came in from the Bartlett Hill Road area reporting a disturbance involving a house party. The party was ending and the hosts turned down the music while the officers were on the scene, according to the incident report.

10:34 a.m. – A Tarbell Spring Road resident called to speak with an officer regarding a dead deer he saw in the woods near Warner Pond.

11:19 a.m. – A 911 call came in from the Visitor Center in Concord Center. It was confirmed as accidental.

12:24 p.m. – A Carlisle resident turned in a set of Volkswagen car keys she found on the sidewalk on Lexington Road.

1:27 p.m. – Police responded to a traffic complaint reporting a speeding vehicle in the Thoreau Hill area.

1:46 p.m. – A New York woman called to complain about another motorist pulling into the parking space she wanted.

5:03 p.m. – Police responded to a report of a woman, who was possibly under the influence of narcotic, exiting a store at Nine Acre Corner before entering her vehicle and heading toward Route 2 on Old Road to Nine Acre Corner.

5:24 p.m. – A Concord man reported $500 was taken from his wallet while it was in the locker room at Nashawtuc Country Club.

7:37 p.m. – Police responded to a report of trash dumping in which two box springs and a mattress were left in the parking lot at Concord Municipal Light Plant headquarters on Elm Street.

9:05 p.m. – A Stow Street resident reported past suspicious activity in which his 13-year-old received calls on his cell phone from a man named “Keyshawn” who kept asking “How’s my boy?” The man said that, once told he had the wrong number, “Keyshawn” stopped calling his son’s phone.

Sunday, Nov. 3

3:57 a.m. – A nurse at Emerson Hospital called to report an apparently intoxicated brother and sister came into the station for the brother to be evaluated following a face injury, and the nurse was concerned that the sister may attempt to drive away from the hospital. According to the incident report, family members arrived at the hospital to bring them back home.

6:32 a.m. – State Police in Framingham relayed a report of a woman on Lowell Road reporting her husband was becoming aggressive. The responding officers reported it was a verbal argument only and no physical altercation took place.

6:52 a.m. – A Southborough man called 911 to report he was being tailgated by a red Saturn on Old Road to Nine Acre Corner heading toward West Concord. The responding officers were unable to locate the vehicle in question.

1:19 p.m. – A Powder Mill Road resident called to complain about delivery drivers from Rossini’s, saying they speed past his house and don’t come to a complete stop at the Stop sign. Police spoke with Rossini’s management, who said the man already came into the business to complain.

4:42 p.m. – Police responded to an alarm activation at the Ripley School on Meriam Road. The premises checked secure, and the cause of the alarm was unknown, according to the incident report.

6:11 p.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop by the Concord Art Association on Lexington Road, Sharon S. Barter, of 158 Carlisle Road, Westford, was arrested on a default warrant from another department and subsequently charged with operating a motor vehicle with her license suspended, operating a motor vehicle with suspended/revoked registration and uninsured motor vehicle.

8:31 p.m. – A Powder Mill Road resident reported suspicious activity in which a door jamb appeared to have been tampered with. The responding officer reported there had been no tampering with the jamb in question.
