Police Log: Traffic Troubles, Accidents and Suspicious Activity

Monday, Oct. 28
1:47 a.m. – An officer radioed in to report checking on a vehicle in the parking lot at Emerson Hospital. It was just a doctor napping in his motor vehicle, according to the incident report.
2:49 a.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of Concord Turnpike and Sandy Pond Road, Pamela J. Wright, of 31 Smiths Farm Lane, Apt. 5, Portland, ME, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor and marked lanes violation.

8:03 a.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of Williams and Old Marlboro roads, a Netwonville man was cited for allowing improper operation of a motor vehicle.
11:33 a.m. – A woman came into the station to report losing a pair of purple dancing shoes in a black bag on Walden Street a few days prior.

1:36 p.m. – A 911 hangup came in from Concord-Carlisle High School. It was confirmed as accidental by a student.
2:47 p.m. – Police responded to a reported parking violation involving a handicapped spot at the Fowler Branch Library. A violation was issued, according to the incident report.
6:12 p.m. – A man walked into the station to report losing his wallet somewhere downtown around 5 p.m. that evening. A Lexington resident called later to report finding a wallet matching the description.
6:55 p.m. – A traffic complaint came in from the area of Upland Road and Pine Street.
Tuesday, Oct. 29
10:09 a.m. – Officers investigated a reported motor vehicle accident on Old Pickard Road by the Sudbury Town line. A Sudbury ambulance transported one motorist to Emerson Hospital.
10:35 a.m. – Police responded to a report of suspicious activity involving a vehicle parked on Old Marlboro Road by Captain Miles Lane.
12:47 p.m. – A woman came into the station with a Jack Russell terrier she found on Sudbury Road by Route 2. The dog’s owner had the dog walker ocme nad pick up the animal.
4:21 p.m. – Police responded to a report of possible past credit card fraud at CVS Pharmacy.
6:05 p.m. – Officers investigated a reported two-car collision in the area of Belknap and Thoreau streets. One of the motorists was cited for a traffic violation.
Wednesday, Oct. 30
2:17 a.m. – Police responded to an alarm activation at Orchard House on Lexington Road. The building checked secure.
2:22 a.m. – An officer radioed in to report checking on a vehicle at the Depot on Thoreau Street. The vehicle’s occupant was napping there and planned to head to Billerica in the morning.
10:51 a.m. – A Concord woman came into the station to report her husband lost his brown leather wallet at the All-Town Mobil station on Route 2 the previous evening.
3:27 p.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop on Main Street in West Concord, a Concord woman was cited for operating with suspended/revoked registration, uninsured motor vehicle and no inspection sticker.
3:43 p.m. – Officers investigated a reported motor vehicle accident on Main Street in West Concord and cited a New Hampshire woman for failure to use care in stopping.
6:52 p.m. – Police responded to a report of a possible object in the intersection at Nine Acre Corner that struck the undercarriage of his motor vehicle. The responding officer reported the traffic cone blocking a raised gas gate had been knocked away, exposing it to passing vehicles.
10:50 p.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of Route 2 and Old Road to Nine Acre Corner, a Maynard man was cited for speeding and operating a motor vehicle with his license revoked.Â
