STORY INTO PLAY
(Ages 4-6 years; Instructor: Joey Talbert; Tuesdays 3:40-4:30pm)
Fairytales and folk tales will be brought to life by young students as they learn to become characters, understand plot, and interpret feelings in this exciting early acting experience. Family members will be invited to an informal performance during the last class. Limit 8 students. Tuition: $250
DRAMATIC FANATICS
(Grades 1-3 limit; Instructor: Joey Talbert; Tuesdays 4:40-5:40pm). Children will be guided through the exciting process of play-making in a safe environment that encourages ensemble work. The class will use exciting original scripts to create and rehearse a play to be performed for family members during the last class. Limit 10 students. Tuition $300
Wednesday Classes: 3/24, 3/31, 4/7, 4/14, 4/28, 5/5, 5/19, 5/26, 6/9, 6/16 NO CLASS: 4/21, 5/12, 6/2
MAINSTAGE MIRROR
( Grades 3-6; Instructor: Amy Nosowitz; Wednesdays 4-5pm) Can’t participate in our MainStage production company because you’re not old enough or don’t have enough time in your week, but love the great shows? Here is a unique chance to learn and informally perform scenes and songs from “Honk” for your family and friends. Emphasis is on developing successful presentation skills. Regular attendance required. Limit: 20 students. Tuition: $300
IMPROV LEVEL 3
(Grades 8-12; Instructor: Amy Nosowitz; Wednesdays 5:15pm – 6:15pm) Build on all the skills you learned in Imrov Level 1 and 2 and start to focus on how to share those skills effectively with an audience! Learn how to work together as an ensemble and be part of an improv troupe! Gain confidence on stage and in school! Fun, supportive environment. Limit: 18 students. Tuition: $300
Thursday Classes: 3/25, 4/1, 4/8, 4/15, 4/29, 5/6, 5/20, 5/27, 6/10, 6/17 NO CLASS: 4/22, 5/13, 6/3
SHOWTIME
(Grades 1-2; Instructor: Joey Talbert; Thursdays 3:45-4:45pm)
Children will be guided through the exciting process of play-making in a safe environment that encourages ensemble work. The class will use simple scripts or improvised dialogue to create and rehearse a play to be performed for family members during the last class. ***Regular attendance is required.Limit 12 students. Tuition: $300
KIDS KOMPANY
(Grades 3-4; Instructor: Joey Talbert; Thursdays 5:00-6:00pm)
Students will experience the excitement of putting on a play, improvising scripts, auditioning for roles, rehearsing, and creating simple costumes to accent their characters. This class will focus on performance skills with special emphasis on class collaboration. The session will conclude with an informal performance. ***Regular attendance is required.Limit 15 students. Tuition: $300
BROADWAY DANCE
(Grades 7-12; Instructor: Amy Nosowitz; Thursdays 6:15 – 7:15pm) Love all those big musical theater dance numbers? Come see how it’s done and try it yourself! Join us to learn choreography to musical theater songs and astound yourself as you perform a full fledged dance number. No dance background necessary. An informal presentation will conclude the class. Limit: 20 students. Tuition: $300
