The Concord Free Public Library (CFPL) welcomes children and teens of all ages to register for the 2019 Summer Reading Program beginning at 9 a.m. June 1. This year’s program is titled “A Universe of Stories”, and will feature space-themed programs and events throughout the months of June, July, and August. A full announcement of the events included in this year’s Summer Reading Program will be released in the coming weeks.

To register, go online to concordlibrary.beanstack.org. Readers who register for the Summer Reading Program will be able to track the number of hours they have read, write reviews, earn badges online, and more, allowing readers to set goals over the course of the summer and win some far-out prizes. The Library encourages parents of our youngest patrons to consider signing up their little ones for the Pre-Reader Program, which comes with many of the same features, including prizes, but is tailored for learners who have not started reading independently yet. All children and teens are welcome to stop by the Main Library or Fowler Branch Library to sign up with a librarian or stop by with additional questions.

For more information on the Summer Reading Program and additional events at the Library, visit the Main Library (129 Main Street) and Fowler Branch Library (1322 Main Street), call the Library at 978-318-3300, or visit concordlibrary.org.
