Trinity Episcopal Church invites you to hear its Youth Choir sing Choral Evensong on Sunday, June 2 at 5 PM in the historic Chapel at 81 Elm Street in Concord. Trinity's Youth Choir will sing Responses by Robert Barney, the Magnificat and Nunc dimittis by Shepard, and the anthem "Let all the world in every corner sing" by Craig Lang. Robert Barney directs the Trinity Youth Choir. All in the community are welcome to attend this service of music, prayer and contemplation.

The service of Choral Evensong, “the jewel of the Anglican Communion”, is unique to the Anglican tradition. The body of music that has been written for this special liturgy is immense and spans over 500 years and a myriad number of composers. Anglican and Episcopal parishes around the globe are offering up sung prayer daily, weekly, monthly, or as often as their choirs can learn the musical settings. Some people call it a concert, but it is really a dialogue of prayer between officiant and choir, at the same time it is a conversation begun and continuing between the creator and the created.

Trinity is fully handicap-accessible. For further information on this or other events at Trinity, please call the Parish Office, 978-369-3715.
