MARLBOROUGH, MA—Crews are cleaning up in parts of Massachusetts, after severe weather ripped through overnight, particularly in Marlborough and Concord, where officials are determining if a tornado did in fact occur.
The National Weather Service is reporting that some of the most significant damage was centered around the Marlborough and Concord areas, and there are still wires down, and many without power in the area early Monday morning.
NWS is conducting a storm survey Monday morning for the area near Concord and Marlborough in Middlesex County. "This area experienced a lot of tree damage and power outages from a severe thunderstorm that moved across the area roughly between 3 and 4 a.m.," said NWS in an announcement. "The survey team will determine whether the damage was tornadic or caused by strong straight line winds."
