"Just like cooking, brewing allows us to think creatively about which ingredients and flavors to combine to create beer that will pair well with the food we like to cook," wrote Saltbox Kitchen on its Kickstarter page.
So far, Saltbox has raised $860 of their $30,000 goal. The group is asking for the funds to cover $18,000 in brewing equipment, $3,100 in general equipment, $2,700 in building costs, $2,400 in farm infrastructure, $2,300 for ingredients and $1,500 for marketing materials.
