14 Kilograms Of Fentanyl Seized In North Shore Bust: State Police

DANVERS, MA — Massachusetts State Police out of the Danvers Barracks reported a large seizure of the dangerous drug fentantyl during a traffic stop on Tuesday.

Police said a stop in northeastern Massachusetts yielded the discovery of 14 kilograms of fentanyl — which is about 30 pounds — after a search of the vehicle.

"The investigation is ongoing," police said. "No further information is being released at this time."
