Angelo Fortes, takes home his 2nd NAGA State Championship

BTT North Shore's Brazilian Jiu Jitsu competitor takes home his 2nd North American Grappling Association (NAGA) Championship Title.

Angelo Fortes, takes home his 2nd North American Grappling Association (NAGA) Championship Title.

The North American Grappling Association (NAGA) is the world’s largest mixed grappling tournament circuit with over 750,000 competitors worldwide. On Saturday, May 15, 2021, NAGA returned to Boston, MA. NAGA awards championship belts to Absolute Blue Belts and above.

Angelo Fortes, took 1st place in the Absolute Gi / 18 & Above / Blue Belt division and 1st place in the Gi / Blue Belt / 180 - 189.9 (Light Heavy Weight) / Adult division at the NAGA Boston Grappling Championship.

Saturday, May 1, 2021 Mr. Fortes also earned double gold at the New Hampshire Grappling Championship. He won 1st place in the Absolute Gi / 18 & Above / Blue Belt division and 1st place in the Gi / Blue Belt / 180 - 189.9 (Light Heavy Weight) / Adult division.
