Beverly, Danvers Teens Invited To North Shore Mental Health Day

The mental health awareness day will feature games, food and customizable, personal mental health kits for students.

DANVERS, MA — Beverly and Danvers teens are among those invited to a day of fun, food and mental health awareness at Beverly's Obear Park on June 19.

The Regional Youth Coalition's #The Importance of You North Shore Teen Mental Health Day is designed to bring teens together after a very trying and, at times, isolating year of the coronavirus health crisis. Along with lots of activities and food from Flip The Bird Chicken, there will also be customizable, personal mental health kids for students.

Mental health advocates have said that teens were among those reporting the most anxiety and mental stress of any demographic group during the pandemic.
