CareAline makes PPE donation to the Danvers Police Department

Local Danvers PPE manufacturer gives back to the community

CareAline, a local Danvers company which manufactures medical garments and PPE, is proud to share that they’ve recently made a donation of isolation gowns and masks to their local Police Department. Aligning with their mission to help others, CareAline is honored to support their local essential workers and keep them safe through the necessary PPE they need.

A two-time cancer survivor and mother of an infant who battled and sadly lost her fight with cancer, Kezia Fitzgerald co-founded CareAline to developed medical garments to help other patients. Their vascular access medical garments are used by thousands of patients across the country in healthcare systems like the Boston Children’s, Cleveland Clinic’s, NYU and others.

When the pandemic hit in 2020, CareAline asked their hospital partners what they needed and where they could help. Their partners brought up many issues with existing isolation gowns, so CareAline, worked with them to develop level 1 and 2 gowns and masks to really solve their concerns. These gowns can be used in nursing homes, schools, dental offices along with hospitals, and CareAline offers small batch ordering so small businesses can access high quality protective gear that they need.

“As a small, local business whose mission is to help others live safe lives, we love to be able to give back to our community when we can. Danvers is a wonderful community and we are proud to be a part of it. For us, this donation was really meaningful to give back to the Danvers Police Department, because years ago when our daughter was battling cancer, their office supported our family through the Cops for Kids with Cancer™ program,” said Kezia Fitzgerald, co-founder of CareAline Products. “Our isolation gowns are also being used in the local Danvers school system and dentist offices and it’s so rewarding to see that our PPE is being put to good use supporting these essential Danvers workers during this difficult time.”

Powered by Milliken™ Perimeter™ barrier fabric, the CareAline Reusable Isolation Gowns are designed to be comfortable and protective. Developed with features requested by top infection control and PPE experts, the gowns offer superior coverage and ease of donning and doffing. Reusable at least 100 times, gowns cost less than $0.40 per use. Made in the USA from all USA sourced materials, the isolation gowns are fully tested, and FDA registered.

About CareAline

CareAline is a locally owned company founded in 2012 by Kezia and Mike Fitzgerald with a manufacturer based in Massachusetts. They have experience with innovating out of necessity and bringing products to market. The CareAline brand began with the need to protect their daughter Saoirse’s PICC and Central Lines while undergoing chemotherapy for Neuroblastoma. Kezia has continued to innovate through her stem cell transplant in the fall of 2019. Unfortunately, Saoirse succumbed to her cancer in 2011, but the Fitzgeralds were able to bring their patented products to market with a personal mission to help patients live safely and fully by providing clinically proven, necessary products to hospitals and patients. https://carealine.com/
