Christmas Has Come to Tapley Hall

Community support has filled Tapley Hall with holiday trees and wreaths which will be raffled off to the lucky winners on Dec. 6th.

The Danvers Historical Society 12th Annual Parade of Trees is running from Dec. 1st to Dec. 6th at Tapley Memorial Hall, 13 Page St. The hall is full of holiday trees and wreaths ready to be raffled off to the lucky winners. Due to COVID, visiting the hall takes some beforehand planning to limit the number in the hall at one time and to prevent folks from having to wait in line outside the door. There are 2 ways to set up a visiting time. Go to https://go.rallyup.com/12th-an... where you will be able to view each tree and wreath along with a description and purchases chances on them. After making at least $10 in raffle purchases you will be directed to the Signupgenius web site to pick your time to visit Tapley Hall and see the trees in person. If you wish to see the trees in person before choosing where you put your chances, go to https://www.danvershistory.org... where you will find a place to purchase raffle tickets via PayPal and then be directed to the Signupgenius web site. If you are a family or coming with a friend, when choosing a time to visit, you may select as many spots as you need.

Many holiday activities will be cancelled but the Danvers Historical Society has worked hard to bring this holiday event to the community in a safe way. Masks are required, hand sanitizer will be available and social distancing will be followed. On Sunday, Dec. 6th, 39 lucky winners will get a phone call and be asked to pick up their winnings on Monday, Dec. 7th.

The Danvers Historical Society is very appreciative of all the community support they received from businesses, organizations, and families in the community to help make this event a success even during these trying times.
