DANVERS, MA —The Danvers Downtown Holiday Tree Lighting is going remote for 2020.

While the lighting will take place on Dec. 12 at 5 p.m., residents are invited to watch the ceremony on Danvers Community Access Television, rather than crowd the downtown area, because of the coronavirus health crisis.

Residents are also invited to purchase ornaments for the tree with money raised going toward the Danvers Educational Enrichment Partnership.
