Danvers COVID-19 Numbers See Decrease
There have been 2,720 confirmed coronavirus cases in the city since the start of the pandemic.

DANVERS, MA — Coronavirus numbers in the city saw a decrease this week.
The Department of Public Health on Thursday released the latest COVID-19 metrics in Massachusetts. On the whole, the state saw more of an increase than it has in two months.

The positive test rate rate from 2.28 percent to 1.93 percent, while the average daily incidence per 100,000 residents went down from 18.2 to 13.5.
There were 73 confirmed cases here in the previous two weeks, 21 fewer than last week's number.
