Danvers Declares Emergency Parking Ban

Make sure you move your car off the street before you go to bed tonight.

DANVERS, MA -- Town officials said a snow emergency will go into effect at 1 am Saturday. Forecasters are calling for snow to start overnight and deliver between 3 and 6 inches in eastern Massachusetts.

The Danvers Department of Public Services Director will call a "snow emergency" when excessive amounts of snow are predicted. All vehicles are required to be removed from all roadways to allow for a better clearing job. All vehicles left on the road are subject to tow.
