DANVERS, MA – Danvers DPW conducted its water main flushing program on Tuesday, April 11, in two phases. According to a post on the DPW's Facebook page, water service was expected to be shut down to replace water main gate valves in those areas.

On Monday, the DPW excavated the valves to speed up the process. Work was expected to be conducted in various points from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. It's unclear if the process would take longer than planned.

Residents can follow along with the DPW's progress by checking out their Facebook page.
