Danvers Extends Water Ban To Level 3

Residents are restricted to using sprinklers and irrigation systems only on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday nights.

DANVERS, MA — Danvers residents will have to do their lawn watering at night three nights a week — if using sprinklers or irrigation systems — as the town moves to Level 3 in its water restriction status.

Level 3 drought conditions allowed lawn and garden watering by sprinkler or in-ground system on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays only from 7 p.m. to 8 a.m. Watering is banned at all other times.

Hand watering with handheld hoses with nozzles and watering cans is allowed anytime. Car washing is also allowed.
