Danvers Fire Battles Bedroom Blaze On Bayview Terrace

Danvers fire said the early Sunday morning fire was contained with the help of mutual aid from Beverly.

DANVERS, MA — Danvers fire said there were no injuries sustained during an overnight fire on Bayview Terrace early Sunday morning.

Danvers fire said they responded to the fire about 2:20 a.m. and requested help from Beverly in battling the blaze.

"Crew aggressively attacked and extinguished (the) bedroom fire," Danvers fire said, "containing the fire to the room of origin. Fortunately, residents were able to exit the home safely."

Crews from Salem, Middleton and Peabody provided station coverage with Danvers and Beverly crews knocked down the fire.
