Danvers High School Field To Be Dedicated On Thanksgiving

The J. Ellison Morse Field will be dedicated on Thursday morning.

DANVERS, MA – Danvers High School will dedicate the J. Ellison Morse Field at Dr. Deering Stadium on Thursday at halftime at the Thanksgiving football game.

At 9 a.m., attendees can meet the Danvers Falcons and enjoy refreshments, courtesy of the Danvers Educational Enrichment Program. The Thanksgiving game against the Gloucester Fishermen begins at 10 a.m.

At 11 a.m. at halftime, Town Manager Steve Bartha will welcome and introduce guests. Mary Beth Verry, representing DEEP, will be featured in the "thanks giving" portion of the dedication, as will Danvers Recreation's Michael Grandmaison, Danvers Schools Athletic Director Andy St. Pierre, and Phillip Morse and family.
