Danvers Historical Society: Virtual Speaker Series: Marching To Menotomy

April 2021 Speaker Series will premiere on April 19 in celebration of Patriot’s Day.

Dave McKenna, otherwise known as Ensign Eleazer Goodale will be demonstrating how the militia prepared for battle on the training field. We will learn about the attire, the timing of the volley, the form of how they marched, and we will learn about some of the names on the memorial stones.

The Facebook premiere will be April 19 at 2:00pm.

Reminder: This month’s Speaker Series is on Monday April 19, not Wednesday.
