Danvers To Hold 3 February Firearms Processing Dates
Applicants will have a temperature scan and must attest to having no coronavirus symptoms when arriving at the station for processing.
DANVERS, MA — The Danvers Police Department will hold firearms licensing on three dates in February.
Those dates are Feb. 9 from 3 to 8 p.m., Feb. 17 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Feb. 27 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Danvers police said applicants are encouraged, but not required, to scan completed applications and support documentation to firearms@danversma.gov or mail them prior to coming to the station. Those who cannot do that should bring all necessary documents to the station for processing.

Those whose temperature reads higher than 98.6 degrees will be asked to leave the station and return for a permit no earlier than 14 days later.
Police said that because criminal investigation emergencies can arise at any time, applications are asked to check their email and Danvers police social media to verify appointments have not been canceled on a given day.
