Danvers To Open MIAA Football Playoffs Against Lynn Classical
The Falcons take on the Raiders in the first round of the football tournament.
DANVERS, MA – Danvers heads to the MIAA Football North Division 3 tournament, taking on Lynn Classical Oct. 27 at Manning Field in Lynn.
The Falcons, seeded sixth with a 5-2 record, will kick off the tournament against the third-seeded Bulldogs, who enter the tournament with a 6-1 record.
The winner will head to the semi-finals.

The MIAA switched to a playoff format in 2010. The state semi-finals are scheduled for the weekend of November 17 and 18, with state championship games scheduled for December 2 at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough.
