Danvers Police Investigating Bank Robbery

DANVERS, MA – Danvers Police detectives are investigating an unarmed robbery that occurred at the Peoples United Bank on Tuesday.

The Federal Street bank robbery was called in around 11 a.m., according to Department Spokesperson Sgt. Olivia Silva. It's unclear how much money was taken, and no weapon or demand letter was presented.

Silva said the suspect was described as a tall, thin, white man. No injuries were reported, and no description of the vehicle was available.
