Danvers Site Among 12 New CVS Coronavirus Test Locations In MA

Along with the Endicott Street coronavirus test site in Danvers, there will be locations in Boston, Brockton, Easton, Saugus and Yarmouth.

DANVERS, MA — The CVS on Endicott Street in Danvers is among the 12 new coronavirus testing locations the pharmacy chain is opening in Massachusetts.

Other test sites include stores in Brockton, Easton, Saugus, Yarmouth and several Boston locations.

The new testing sites are scheduled to open on Friday.

CVS has opened more than 2,000 test sites in 33 states, plus the District of Columbia, since March.

Tests are available at no cost for those without health insurance.

Testing is for those who meet state and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines, but a doctor's referral is not needed.

Those seeking a test much register for an appointment in advance.

New testing locations are:

CVS Pharmacy, 181 Brighton Avenue, Allston

CVS Pharmacy, 207 Market Street, Brighton

CVS Pharmacy, 355 Centre Street, Brockton

CVS Pharmacy, 139 Endicott Street, Danvers

CVS Pharmacy, 70 West State Street, Granby

CVS Pharmacy, 454 Electric Avenue, Lunenburg

CVS Pharmacy, 220 Maple Street, Middleton

CVS Pharmacy, 689 Depot Street, North Easton

CVS Pharmacy , 4600 Washington Street, Roslindale

CVS Pharmacy, 1075 Broadway Street, Saugus

CVS Pharmacy, 453 Station Avenue, Yarmouth

CVS said results for rapid testing are generally returned on the same day of specimen collection (rapid testing locations are limited). For samples sent to CVS lab partners, the average turnaround time for receiving results is two to three days.
