DANVERS, MA — Stop & Shop customers have a new option for contactless grocery pickup through temperature-controlled lockers at the Newbury Street location.

Shoppers can place an order online, choose a pickup time and within 15 minutes of that time they will receive a text message that their order is ready at the new lockers without having to stand in line.

Shoppers will get a code in the text that they can scan or enter at the designated locker kiosk located near the main entrance. Once the code is entered, the locker automatically opens with the bagged groceries inside.
