Danvers Traffic Alert: Work Starting Friday

A handful of roads will be ground down and leveled this weekend, weather permitting.

DANVERS, MA – Seven streets will be ground down and leveled this weekend in anticipation of resurfacing, according to a post on the town website. The work will start on Friday, July 28, if the weather conditions allow. Cars won't be able to park on the affected streets from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Work will be done on Briarwood Drive, Belgian Road (from Poplar to North Belgian), Harbor Street, Highland Terrace, St. Hilaire Avenue, Southside Road, and Webb Street, according to the post. The roadways will be ground down and leveled, and the structures will be raised. Resurfacing will happen at a later day.
