Danvers Water Main Break Disrupting Traffic
Danvers police are asking drivers to avoid the area of Route 62 where workers are trying to repair the break.

DANVERS, MA — A portion of Route 62 eastbound in Danvers is closed as workers try to repair a Monday morning water break. Eastbound traffic on the road is being detoured up Conant Street and down state road. Westbound traffic is passing through the work area, but Danvers police are warning drivers to expect delays and, if possible, avoid the area.
Danvers officials plan to shut water off for about six hours beginning at noon from Elliott Street to Liberty Street, including Edmunds Cove.
