Danvers Water Main Work Begins On Bowdoin Street
The replacement of water mains on Bowdoin Street is expected to take about a month to complete.

DANVERS, MA – The installation of new water mains on Bowdoin Street was scheduled to begin this week, and work is expected to last roughly a month, according to a post on the town website. Short term water service interruptions will accompany the work for all structures in the neighborhood, but the post said long term interruptions won't happen.
The project involves Bowdoin Street getting new water mains, fire hydrants, and valves. The work may close some side streets, or turn one-way streets into two-way streets temporarily. "No Parking" signs will be posted when applicable, but driveways will be open. The town's contractor, R&D Site Development, LLC, and their subcontractors will be conducting the work.
