Danvers Weather: Showers Give Way to Cooler Weekend Temps

Highs are expected to be in the mid-50s by Sunday.

Danvers, MA - Friday's summer-like temperatures will give way to more seasonable spring weather over the weekend.

Before we get there, there is a possibility of showers Friday night, according to the National Weather Service.

Friday Mostly cloudy. Near steady temperature in the mid 70s. South winds 5 to 10 mph with gusts up to 20 mph.

Friday Night Cloudy. A chance of showers and thunderstorms in the evening...then a chance of showers after midnight. Patchy fog after midnight. Some thunderstorms may produce gusty winds and small hail in the evening. Lows in the lower 50s. Southwest winds 5 to 10 mph...becoming west after midnight. Chance of rain 50 percent.

Saturday Mostly cloudy in the morning...then becoming mostly sunny. Patchy fog in the morning. Much cooler with highs in the lower 60s. North winds 5 to 10 mph. Gusts up to 20 mph in the afternoon.

Saturday Night Mostly clear. Much cooler with lows in the upper 30s. North winds 5 to 10 mph with gusts up to 20 mph.

Sunday Sunny. Highs in the mid 50s. North winds 10 to 15 mph... Becoming northeast 5 to 10 mph in the afternoon.

Sunday Night Partly cloudy. Lows in the lower 40s.

Monday Partly sunny with a 40 percent chance of showers. Highs in the upper 50s.
